Coronavirus closes Museums and Archaeological sites in Greece

The Ministry of Culture has announced that museums and archaeological sites in Greece are closed until the 30th March, due to coronavirus.

This is yet another precautionary measure to help control the spread of the deadly virus.

“The relevant instructions have been given for the thorough cleaning of the sanitary facilities used by the staff of the Ministry of Culture, museums and archaeological sites,” the statement explains.

So far 117 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Greece, with the country ranked 25th worldwide.
