A man tried to end his life shortly after 14:00 at the beach of Proastio in Patras because, as he said, he tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Patras Times, the man fell into the sea, wanting to commit suicide while taking sedatives.
He was rescued while still conscious.
The man allegedly told the rescuers that he tried to end his life because he tested positive for COVID-19.
